My name is Nora. In the tattoo world, I am known as Nora Ink. I’m from Kharkiv, Ukraine. I’ve graduated from the Academy of Design and Art there. Drawing has been my passion ever since I was little.
I became a tattoo artist about 10 years ago. At that time, I was not yet fully formed as a tattoo artist - I was still searching myself and could not decide what style would be closest to my heart. I found that I was really into tattooing flowers. I was inspired by fine lines, perfect composition, the whole process of creating a flower tattoo on the body.
The last part for me was to combine all the experience and emotions and create my own unique sketches and unleash it on paper. My method of coloring helped make my work to be recognizable and special. I decided to try and combine two styles: graphics and watercolors and that how I became a kind of a "Fairy of Pink Peonies."
The big step in my career was when I joined Sashatattooing team about 5 years ago. It’s an amazing experience to work with such a good team! I found that when I was surrounded by inspiration and talent of my colleagues, it helped me to grow faster.
In the last 5 years I went to a lot of conventions and guest spots around the world. It was an honor for me to judge a competition between tattoo artists on the Westchester Tattoo Convention last year.
Now I’m a resident at Sashatattooing LA. I moved here almost 2 years ago. It’s an amazing place to work and live. Here, we have a lot of celebrities at our studio. A highlight of the last year was getting the chance to work with Maroon 5, Trippie Redd, Tina Louise and many others.
