Tan An is an esteemed artist who graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art. He has studied realistic painting since he was a child, which led to a strong interest in the realistic tattoo style.
In 2016, he began to study tattoos - his work in the realism style has been described as exceptional.
In November 2017 he studied at Guangzhou Mozuntang Tattoo and deepened his understanding of tattoos under the guidance of his teacher. In the Autumn of 2018, his work won the European and American Big Picture Group championship at the Shanghai International Tattoo Convention.
As of April 2019, he began his own studio, the Cike Factory Tattoo Studio, with his team.
